What’s It All About?
There are certain things which you are hard-wired to look for and understand during your life. This journey is to look at these things in a way that will hopefully make sense.
The destination of the journey would be so that:-
1. You can choose to live in Heaven forever.
To know that there is something beyond this life we live. You will exist forever and you have a choice where to spend eternity after your body dies.
The best choice would be to choose to spend forever in a place called Heaven and to know without doubt that is where you are going. You need to know that we do not go to live in Heaven automatically but you have to make a choice to go there. You have to think about this now because you only get to choose in this life, after your body dies it is too late. As none of us know when we will die there is a great urgency to understand this and make up your mind.
There is a far more compelling reason to not delay the choice. If you do not choose to go to Heaven then you still live forever but every day will be filled with endless misery, it will be like living the worst day of your life everyday, forever.
There is no third option just to cease to exist after you die. Failure to make a choice means you get to go to the default destination and spend forever in misery.
There is no option to wait and see.
2. You can know the one who makes this possible
This world was designed and created. There is no possibility that it came about by chance. There is only one God and He also designed and made you and has a blueprint set out for your life. Now when you come to know God you know Him in a way like any other person you know. You talk and communicate and relate and build a relationship. There is then no way that you can deny God’s existence, just as you could never deny any of your friends or family exist.
There is no doubt that God is real. The great thing is that He wants you to know Him. Knowing the one who created you and everything in this universe is to have the greatest friend you could ever have. When you do not know God for yourself then this will probably seem impossible. It will make no sense to you at all. We have to come to know God for ourselves individually so that we can also go to Heaven at the end of this life.
It is like God is holding out His hand to you. He longs for you to take His hand and come to know Him. This is the only way to ensure that you will not spend every day after you die in utter misery.
While this might appear like nonsense to you right now is it worth the risk of passing up the chance to change where you will spend forever?
3. Becoming the person you were meant to be
We have so many choices as we grow and change in life and forge the course our life will take and the person we become. Most of us have a sense of longing or awareness that there is something more to life than we can currently see. This desire and longing are placed there by God so you will search for Him. When you come to know God for yourself, you at last start to become the person you are truly meant to be. You finally become You! This new life comes with immense privileges and promises. You become aware the creator of all the universe, is looking after you!
4. Living a Transformed Life Now
When you know you have the creator of the universe as your friend and your place in Heaven is assured and you will live an amazing life there for all eternity then your whole perspective on life will be very different. When you live life from the perspective of Heaven and Eternity then your whole outlook changes.
