Our Default Destination

We start a journey at the beginning of our lives and for each of us it has the same default destination.

A good analogy would be like travelling on a train journey. The views, the comfy seats and the food may be great along the way or indeed the journey may be a difficult one, but the destination is the same. The train is zipping through the countryside at amazing speed but most of the passengers are simply unaware that the track will shortly run out and the train will disappear over the edge of a cliff.

Another good analogy would be like walking through life with a blindfold on. Aware of many things around us yet completely blind to some things which are vital to understand. Most are unaware of the cliff edge they are approaching and about to fall off!

Misinterpreting the clues in a treasure hunt will lead you to the wrong destination and may prevent you reaching the correct destination and miss out on the treasure.

Similarly in real life our journeys will vary but the destination is pre-set.

We can carry on our lives oblivious to this or we can choose to go to a better destination.
