We tend not to think about such things, but go on, just think for a while, dwell on this and ponder what this truly means. You will start to unlock a truth which is hidden from us by our education, by our busyness, by our sophistication.
You see we aren’t the simple biological beings we live out our lives as. We are a 3 part being made up of a body, a soul and spirit. The other interesting fact is that we are eternal beings.
We seem to be trained to live as if this life is all there is. Even people who fully understand their place in eternity live entirely considering only the few years we live here. We don’t seem to be able to see beyond the life we know now.
Of course knowing this makes a mockery of evolution and even the big bang as the cause of our existence. How could the mashing together of cells over millions of years produce an eternal being.
Why do we spend so much of our effort worrying our problems and difficulties in the life we are living now and so little thinking about what may lie beyond. Even the wonder of this should transform how we think, even how we live.
We sensibly buy into life insurance policies to protect our loved ones after we are gone but for you and for your loved ones why do we so rarely consider what happens afterwards. Perhaps we need some sort of after- life insurance maybe?
This brings us on to the next most obvious question would be what happens after we leave this life? What does eternity look like for me?
