There are many books and lists describing all of the wonderful places you should visit and the things you should do before you die.
There is just One Thing you need to do, which if you understood its real worth, makes all these bucket lists look as ordinary as your weekly grocery list.
Imagine there was a man down at the local market who has setup a stall and is giving out free handfuls of diamonds to anyone who comes to ask for them. Each handful of diamonds is worth millions and their value would transform your life completely. A leaflet has come through your door explaining the offer but you either didn’t read the leaflet or if you read it you failed to grasp its meaning or you simply didn’t believe it. The market trader has a very quiet day with few people attending his stall.
If the people understood the invitation on the leaflet they would stop everything and rush down to see the trader to collect their treasure. People would be queuing down the street at the market stall.
There is piece of knowledge that is worth more than a handful of diamonds or anything you could ever own. If you truly understood its worth you would be clamouring to find out about it.
As it is few are interested in a similar way to the example above they either can’t be bothered to find out, or they fail to grasp its meaning or they simply do not or cannot believe it.
Like a leaflet coming through the door advertising “free diamonds” we would tend to dismiss this right away as impossible so we ignore it.
Sometimes in order to learn a new subject or sport or skill we have to change the way we think, put aside some of our preconceptions or unlearn some bad habits in order to truly grasp the subject and learn correctly.
However this is the real deal..
If you are interested come on a journey of discovery and find the answers to life, the universe and everything. First you may have to put aside all you currently “know” in order to find the most valuable piece of knowledge there is.
